Our story
Food for the Soul was born from a lifelong love of cooking and a deep respect for real, nourishing food. After decades in the kitchen—learning from family, refining techniques in culinary school, and taking specialized courses—I decided to bring my passion home and share it with others.
What started as baking sourdough for my family turned into something much more: a way to connect, nourish, and inspire through honest, handmade food. Every item I offer is crafted from scratch using organic ingredients, without preservatives or additives—just simple, traditional methods and lots of love.
Today, Food for the Soul is a micro bakery based in Ridgefield, CT. From fresh sourdough loaves and buttery croissants to hands-on cooking classes and kids’ camps, everything I do is rooted in care, community, and the belief that food should feed both the body and the heart.
